This wonderful collector's plate depicts a scene from Charles Dickens

"A Christmas Carol."

Illustrated by renowned Italian artist Roberto Innocenti who is known for his highly detailed, painterly style and his devotion to realistic representation in such classic works as Cinderella, The Adventures of Pinocchio, A Christmas Carol, and Nutcracker. Innocenti's illustrations are unmistakable, demonstrating a delicacy of palette as well as a refinement of line, both of which are surprising in light of the fact that Innocenti is completely self-trained in art.
 

Pre-Owned In Excellent Condition. No Chips, Cracks, Stains, Crazing or Scratches. No Discernible Wear On Gold Trim. There is a small mfg flaw. A small amount of gold paint is on the plate and was glazed over. (see last picture)

Comes in original Box.

Most of my items are discovered at estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores, or other unique treasure caches. Unless otherwise stated all of the items I sell have had previous owners and are likely to show some signs of use. Many of the items are hand-painted and some blemishes were done at the time of creation and are part of the character of the piece. I do my best to describe and photograph any issues or flaws no matter how small.  Some items may need to be polished, cleaned or dusted.

I take great care in packing fragile items (See Feedback). Plenty of bubble wrap and peanuts. Unfortunately, no amount of care can guarantee that an item won’t arrive broken. If that should happen, you will receive a refund after I have received a picture of the broken item, shipping box and packing material.

I ship no later than the next business day after payment is received. If the shipping date is going to be delayed, you will receive an email stating when I will be able to ship and the reason for the delay
