This is a 9" articulated or segmented wall cross which was purchased on a trip to the Holy Land about 25 years ago. It is made of oiled olive wood and is to be hung with the string that holds the pieces together. The phrases of the Lord's prayer are printed on the individual segments.

BACKGROUND: Earlier this year I bought a large group of religious figurines, plaques, crosses, and jewelry from two different estates. Most were very carefully chosen gifts and not things you see frequently. Virtually all are in excellent condition because they were displayed in closed cabinets devoted just to them. None of them had the original boxes with them.
CONDITION: This item is in excellent condition with no damage noted.
