This Art Print Poster of Modigliani's Woman with Fan measures 16 x 24 inches.
This painting appears in the James Bond film, Skyfall.
When Bond tracks Patrice to Shanghai, Patrice assassinates a man (identified in the credits as "Shanghai Art Collector") while he is viewing a painting. The painting is "Woman with a Fan (Luna Czechowska)", painted by Amedeo Modigliani in 1919. In reality, on May 20, 2010 this painting was stolen from the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, along with works by Matisse, Braque, Picasso and Leger.
The paintings are still missing, and their collective worth has been estimated at $200 million.
This was a subtle reference to the first James Bond film, Dr No, which featured Goya's Portrait of The Duke of Wellington. The painting was stolen in 1961 but returned in 1965.
