Vintage Blue and White Father's Day Mug with Sailing Ship and Father Poem 1980
This is a large, heavy mug that has a sailing ship (clipper) on one side and a poem on the other side. The mug weighs 1 lb. 5 oz., stands 5-3/4" tall, holds 32 oz. and has a 3-1/2" opening at top. The handle is large enough to fit a man's hand. The paint looks a little odd on this, but I can't make up my mind if it is meant to be that way or messed up. It gives it somewhat of a windswept look across the lettering and looks good on the ship. I can't find another one online to compare it, so I can't say for sure. It has a very small scraped place on it (see last picture with pink arrow). The bottom reads "BR 1980". From the looks of the inside and the bottom, I don't think this mug had much use. Will ship either USPS Ground or UPS Ground, depending on shipping location.
