I began making these after abdominal surgery made wearing a seatbelt uncomfortable for me and store-bought covers did not provide enough padding or length.

Each car seatbelt cover has 3 cotton layers and cotton-poly batting.
- The two cotton flannel layers are quilted to the batting for easier folding.
- The top fashion fabric is a 100% cotton fabric of your choice.
- I pre-wash and dry all fabric on high heat before sewing to prevent shrinking.
- The edges are topstitched to prevent shifting of the fabric and seams during use.
- Unless otherwise indicated, seat belt covers can be machine washed and dried on low heat.
- Closures are soft edge 3/4 VELCRO ® Brand hook and loop fastener or T5 plastic snaps in black or light gray.
