Impressive FDG .833 silver tall candlestick pair hand engraved and pierced with applied flowers and ball and lion paw feet, circa 1850. The crowned "R" mark was for silver articles made for the court, Rio de Janero, Emperor Dom Pedro II. The pieces measure 10 1/2" tall and together weigh 35.5 troy ounces. They are not monogrammed and are in good vintage condition. Extraordinary!
