Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Glass Lamp Stem. The stem is made entirely of glass, with the center bored out to accommodate a cord. The top piece is metal, most likely brass, and there is a little light colored amethyst glass crystal that has been glued into the top hole. The glass base has four holes where it would have screwed onto a base of some type. There are some tool marks on the metal top, but the piece is otherwise in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks to the glass. It does have some museum wax remnant on the bottom. I am unsure of the age or origins of the piece, but I believe that it is quite old. The piece is 9.25” tall, and 2.25” square at the base. It is an interesting unique piece that could be used in several lamp or other decorative projects.
