Most of BLADE RUNNER takes place on massive, incredibily detailed sets of towering megastructures built above the crumbling old buildings. This version jettison's the voice-over narration. The stunning visual effects are by Douglas Trumbull ('Close Encounters'). Music by Vangelis of progressive rock band 'Aprodites Child'. With Joe Turkel (bartender in 'The Shining'). A fascinating, sadistic movie with some gore and violence.
