This is a vintage BLACK GLASS MARQUISE SHAPED CAB RING!

In a silvertone metal, this vintage ring has a black glass cab in the marquise shape in the center.

Around the center stone the metal is formed to make it look like marcasite stones, but they are made from the metal and are part of the design, they are not actual "stones".
