This is a vintage mid century Bucilla Creative Needlecraft Crewel Embroidery Kit.
"Oriental" no. 1712.
To make a decorative pillow.
14" square box shape.
Striking design stamped on sturdy, decorator fabric (75% rayon, 25% cotton) for simple Crewel Wool Embroidery.
Kit includes everything required to complete:
Stamped Pillow Top and Back
Vel-tex Nylon Piping for top and back
2" wide boxing strip
Zipper for opening
Colorful crewel embroidery yarn (100% virgin wool)
Embroidery needle
Easy to follow instructions.
MADE IN THE USA. I believe it dates approximately to the 1970's
Requires pillow form 14 x 14 x 2 (not included.)
Also does not include embroidery hoop or frame.
