The body & feet are metal, all else plastic.
They needed a counterweight, so the feet have some heft.

There are two pilots.

feet > rotate
hunches & rises ...
torso rotates ...
cockpit opens for second pilot ...
auto-cannons 180° swivel ...

The arms have 90° movement which is why there are so many broken off.
