Alekos Sakellarios wrote and directed this pleasant romantic comedy showcase for beautiful Greek starlet Aliki Vouyouklaki. She plays Aliki, who falls in love with handsome Kostas (Dimitris Papamichael) at the beach one summer. They make plans to meet again, but there is a mix-up in communication and the couple loses touch until they run into each other by accident at the yearly Naval Cadet Ball. Kostas is a young cadet, and Aliki is the daughter of the Naval Academy's Governor (Lambros Konstandaras). Problems begin when the determined Aliki sneaks onboard a battleship to see Kostas during his cadet training and the ship takes to the high seas before she can disembark. Kostas and his crewmates attempt to conceal her presence, leading to a series of hilarious complications expertly played against the music and songs of Manos Hadjidakis......
