He got his girlfriend pregnant, he started drinking tea, he even stopped eating meat. The only thing that didn't change was his devotion to music. He is still a posessed man, hyper active, with twenty ideas an hour. And he made a solo album which he called Comin' Home. Pedal steel, horns that sound just as good as those on the old Stax singles, a wonderful organ. On Lover he almost sounds like Jacques Brel, there's a Tom Waits cover.
