This is a well used Antique circa 1800s Oval Serving Platter from Gustavsberg - Made in Sweden...also has the MINERVA Mark on the back. It measures approx. 13 3/4" x 10 1/4" and it is in very well used condition with all over wear and utensil usage...and two small chips on the backside. If you know someone with a kiln...and they can figure out if it is safe or not to re-glaze the platter..you can get most all of the wear and crazing and utensil usage to disappear and then re-glaze it. I do this with my Fiesta Plates if they are well worn but this is an older plate so it may require extra care. This pattern was active from the 1860s-90s.
