Mickey's of Glendale has released this pin as a Special Events addition to its exclusive ongoing Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection series utilizing the sorcerer hat (a symbol for Walt Disney Imagineering) as a blank canvas for creative and unique designs that commemorate a special Disney event. This pin is sold on a green Special Events backer card and is therefore no mystery. This pin is a commemorative of a special D23 event of shopping and signing at WDI's Mickey's of Glendale on April 16, 2011 for the release of the Imagineers #2 Sorcerer Hats Collection. The pin designer for this pin, as well as, 4 out of 5 of the designers of the Imagineers #2 pins where on hand to autograph the Mystery boxes, the pins and this commemorative. The pin was sold to D23 members, and each D23 attendee was only allowed to buy one pin. However, it should be noted that nowhere on the pin or card does it have a D23 mention. The pin features the design of the nondescript Mystery Chaser pin pictured on the back of every Sorcerer Hats Mystery box. The background of the entire pin's hat format is black. In the middle of the pin is simply a large white question mark (?)
