1913 Ohio Flood Real Photo Post Card Original real photo post card of the Great Dayton Ohio Flood of 1913 though this one depicts the flood in Marietta, Ohio. The 1913 flood was the greatest natural disaster in Ohio history. 17 billion cubic feet of water rushed through downtown Dayton in 48 hours on March 23, just after Easter weekend. This RPPC depicts the scene at the corner of Scammel St. and Fourth St, in Marietta. Written on the back of the card is "Man with the ? in his arms Dad waiting on his boat Marrietta Ohio 1913". There is also a small arrow on the front pointing to one of the 2 men near the center of the photo.
