Description

Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Ironstone Teapot.  It is a black on white transfer-ware Ironstone pot, made by W Adams & Sons.  It is the Jeddo pattern.  I am unsure of its actual age. This pattern is discontinued, and began in 1918.  It is in good condition, with no cracks, however, there are a couple of small chips in the spout, as well as around the perimeter of the inside rim at the top.  The pot is also dusty and needs a good scrubbing.  It is unfortunately missing its lid.  It is 6” tall at the rim, 7.5” tall at the handle, 8.5” from spout to handle, 4.5” in diameter at the top rim, 3” in diameter at the top inner rim, and 6” in diameter point to point at the base. It is a beautiful pattern, black on white transfer, a rarer color combination. With a little TLC, it will be a genuinely nice addition to your antique teapot collection.
