1959 CLASSIC FILM, THIS LASER DISC RELEASED IN 1993...NEWLY RESTORED AND REMASTERED THEATRICAL CUT!

Darby O'Gill and the Little People is a 1959 American fantasy adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions, adapted from the Darby O'Gill stories of Herminie Templeton Kavanagh. Directed by Robert Stevenson and written by Lawrence Edward Watkin, the film stars Albert Sharpe as O'Gill alongside Janet Munro, Sean Connery, and Jimmy O'Dea.

Leonard Maltin praises the film in his book The Disney Films, calling it "not only one of Disney's best films, but is certainly one of the best fantasies ever put on film." In a later article he included it among a list of outstanding lesser-known Disney films.

WHILE I WAS ABLE TO GET A FEW OF MY LASER DISCS DIRECTLY FROM THE STUDIO, WHEN I WORKED THERE...I BOUGHT THIS ONE! IT WAS A 'CUT-OUT' SO THERE IS THE SLIGHT CUT CORNER OF THE SLEEVE...AND I DON'T EVEN WANT TO THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH THIS (AND ALL THE REST) COST ME BACK THEN!!!
(I PAID $50 FOR THE BOX SET OF CINDERELLA!  AND $85 FOR SNOW WHITE! NOW THEY ARE JUST ON DISPLAY...AS ART!)
 
Film's original theatrical aspect ratio was 1.75:1
 

(For those who incredulously ask me...No, these are Not DVDs!  Laser Discs are from the 1990s,
and are 12" in diameter and require a Laser Disc Player to view!)
