GOLD PROMO stamp on back. HYPE-STICKER on front. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear along bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a couple divots. (Not a cut-out.)
The late-'80s alternative pop on Trouble in the Home makes the Thrashing Doves' a joy to listen to. Angel Visit sounds more polished than the tracks on Bedrock Vice, but it has a lively beat and witty lines like, "I don't want to go to the store/to get more of what's making me dizzy." Lorelei is a pretty ballad with a slight country feel. Reprobate's Hymn and Sister Deals epitomize the band's move towards a new style this album. Another Deadly Sunset was the album's best hit, with Trouble In The Home having a good reach as well.
