Here is a vintage Ty Bear - it is a precursor to the popular Beanie Baby and Classic Style later bears. The tag on this one is the earliest tag - it is dated 1989. This bear is is excellent clean condition with the softest plush fur ever! It was never displayed or left out but kept carefully tissue wrapped and covered all these years. He has a very rounded head with a leatherette nose, stitched smiling mouth, and ears low on the sides. One ear still has the plastic attachment on it that originally held the heart tag, which I no longer have unfortunately.  He measures about 19 inches long when laid out. Please note: This is not the same as the 1996 Paws bear. His ears are placed differently and his paws are completely different.  He is a very displayable and collectible item for yourself or wonderful gift for someone special! From a smoke free home.
