Description
This is a pre-1972 aqua Fenton hobnail compote (or comport) with a crimped and ruffled edge. It has a round foot and octagonal column and no impressed mark (these were used beginning in 1972). The colors are opaque aqua blue and white.
The foot has 4 clearly visible mold marks.
SIZE: This piece is 5 1/2" wide and 6 1/8" tall.
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a number of things from the estate of a neighbor who had several thousand figurines, many figural boxes and paperweights, and a huge glass collection from many different makers. I'll be listing more things from this purchase over the next several weeks.
