Original unpublished photograph of the French Battleship "Marseillaise" in 1916 in Kingston, Jamaica. This was removed from a photo album that originally belonged to, and was compiled sometime beginning in 1914, by William Roy Snyder, and who identified the ship on the album page. We know he served in the military during WWI, and later he worked for Metropolitan Sound Studios, Inc. and was involved in the filming of several Hollywood movies. The full page measures 7.5 x 5.25. The photo of the "Marseillaise" measures 4.75 x 6.5. Condition: This is an original, unpublished photograph, most likely one of a kind. It has a bent tip of upper left corner and narrow crease in top right corner. Comments: The album page showing the identification of the ship and the adhesive is being shown for verification only. It will not be included with this purchase because it has a significant, unrelated photo adhered to the opposite side.
