Freemason Masonic Extremely Heavy Large dimming lamp light fixture crystal ball

Very old, working lamp from a Masonic Lodge. The switch is dimmable. The large globe has a floral print and appears frosted. A normal light bulb goes underneath. The 4 smaller bulbs are regular light bulbs. The lamp is very large and EXTREMELY heavy so the small light bulbs are removed for shipping. They are shown in the photo as an example of how the lamp will look. *Note* Large globe is included, but standard light bulbs are not included (easy to find at store). Just plug in and it works. Globe may be shipped in a separate box to prevent damage during shipping. The dimming switch is very precise and allows custom levels of light. Globe reminds me of a crystal bulb. What ceremonies was this used for?

Currently a table lamp. I was going to hang from the ceiling, but have too many things to do. Amazing lamp! It is heavy like a log. The top looks metal, but could be carved wood or resin.. I don't know exactly. Old bakelite dimmer switch and plug.
