Removed from a 1968 Mercury Cougar (302 engine) after the part it connected to shorted out, so I replaced the entire thing with an aftermarket unit, it wasn't a show car. No functional damage to this part, works fine. Ideal for someone wanting their car to be as original as possible. Note that what you see is what you get which is the lock cylinder component. The chrome section unscrews to fit it in, that has a few scratches on it.
