   Sending test messages to pagers has never been so easy or flexible. The new Ramsey Quik-Page PE-6400 Paging Encoder is compatible with ALL of the currently available One-way paging formats, such as Flex, Pocsag, Golay, 5/6 tone, and 2-tone pager formats. Selection of format and transmission speed is so easy it is accomplished with a single keystroke. The bright blue, 2 line by 20 character alphanumeric vacuum fluorescent display is large enough to continuously show all operating parameters in a single view, including Pager Format, Capcode, and Message. The Quik-Page PE-6400 has 7 preprogrammed messages including numeric strings, tone only, and preamble, as well as 3 user programmable messages. All messages are stored in rapid select, non-volatile memory, which is maintained even when the power is turned off. For added speed in high volume testing, the Quik-Page PE-6400 allows on-the-fly editing of capcodes with increment, decrement, back and forward edit keys.
