Welcome to My Rough Room. Here you will find toys that do not meet my standards of VG+ condition or above. However, I don't have the heart to throw them out because they still have infinite play value left. To keep the cost of these items low, I do NOT clean them. I leave this up to the buyer. I would be happy to share with you my cleaning tips for these VINTAGE FISHER PRICE toys.
Here is Fisher Price's Classic #464 Pocket Camera for your perusal. Produced from 1974-1990, this item provided hours of fun for millions of American children. The children could depress the yellow button which caused the picture inside to change and the "flash cube" (remember those?) to rotate. The camera made a clicking noise as these operations occurred. The children gazed into the smaller view finder to see an assortment of zoo animal pictures. If they looked through the larger view finder, they could pretend to take their own pictures of every day events.
This particular camera has seen a lot of action in its day. It demonstrates some generalized soiling, some staining and edge wear on the main Fisher Price logo, and some edge wear on the corners of the "flash cube" lithos. There is also some soiling and fraying of the camera wrist band. This could probably be cleaned using a Shout applicator and rubbing it on the cord.
The camera itself weighs @ 6 oz. UNWRAPPED. My location is Lafayette, IN (47905).
I will be shipping this in a small box to protect the flash cube mechanism. I imagine the packed weight will exceed 13 oz. so it will need to go via the USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post.
