Here is a CLASSIC, Vintage Fisher Price Little People Hospital play set (#931) in EXC++ condition.  Best of all it is 100% COMPLETE and includes the exceedingly RARE bed screen and VHTF nurse with her mask!

The Hospital's EXTERIOR lithos are GORGEOUS (EXC++)!  All of the lithos are intact, clean, and bright with clear, crisp graphics. After much scrutiny, the only "FLAWS" I can detect are:

1.  A smattering of small bubbles, a couple of tiny scratches, and the EXTREMELY faint remnants of a child's orange marker on the front Hospital wall litho; I literally did not even detect the latter until after I started cropping my photos;  the orangish color blends in that well with the underlying yellow and orange colors on the front Hospital litho; I've taken numerous close up photos of this; if you'd like to examine them, please contact me and I'd be happy to forward them to you;

2.  One scratch to the right of the bird bath litho; this scratch has permeated the litho;

3.  One, hair-line vertical crease to the left of the flag pole litho; and

4.  A couple of faint stains on the doctor litho and a couple of black spots on the litho on the roof overhang; I believe these may be minimized or eliminated by a careful cleaning.  

The remaining EXTERIOR lithos are PRISTINE.

The INTERIOR lithos are "OUT OF THIS WORLD!"  In my opinion, they warrant a NEAR MINT-MINT rating.  After much scrutiny, I can only detect one minor bubble on the elevator wall litho.  The rest of the wall, floor, and fold down playground lithos are PERFECT (MINTY MINT)! 

All the plastic surfaces are rich in color and free of any chips, "dings," cracks, breaks, or abrasions. Other than a few light surface scratches, one or two extraneous black marks, and an occasional scuff, these plastic surfaces look BRAND NEW!  I'm confident the marks will be eliminated during the cleaning process and the scuffs will largely be buffed out with Armor All Wipes.

The hinges on the front flap are intact, with no cracks or chips, and the door latches securely when closed.  The elevator, garage door, elevator doors, floor indicator arrow, and bell all work as designed.  There are no cracks between the slats on the garage door.  In general, I would categorize the plastic surfaces on this piece as being in NEAR MINT-MINT condition.

Besides this IMPRESSIVE Fisher Price Hospital play base, this set includes the following accessories:

1 HTF red and white ambulance without Fisher Price written on the wheels (EXC++--surface scratches and scuffs);

1 VHTF wheelchair (EXC++-one faint pin-head size brown mark on upper back edge of seat; don't know what this is from but it looks like it's here to stay);

1 HTF scale (EXC++--NOTE:  The scale in the photo is NOT the one you will be receiving; I've upgraded this scale to one that is in much better condition; the new scale works as designed; the only stickler is that once the figure steps off of the scale, the needle reverts to 60 lbs. instead of 0);

1 VHTF operating table with attached oxygen mask (NEAR MINT--light scuff on right side of operating mask; think this will diminish with cleaning);

1 RARE gurney w/velcro strap (EXC++--NOTE: while strap presently demonstrates some light soiling, this strap will brighten considerably once I clean it with a Chlorox bleach pen; I anticipate it will be an "antiseptic white;" once this occurs, this piece will warrant a MINT rating);

2 hospital chairs (MINT--NOTE:  I received a new shipment of Hospital chairs that were in much better condition than the ones depicted; I inserted the upgraded chairs into this offering);

1 HTF X-ray machine that works (EXC++-some minor edge wear to upper back corners of machine along with a few, barely detectible "nibbles");

1 HTF hospital scrub sink (EXC++-light surface scratches; anticipate these will buff out with Armor All Wipes);

2 HTF hospital beds with some traces of residual foam (VG+--both are missing all of their original foam; if they possessed all of this foam, one would be in NEAR MINT condition while the other would remain in VG+ condition; the latter has a pronounced glue stain on the footboard of the bed; it's extremely doubtful this will come off with cleaning; I have another shipment of hospital accessories en route; if the aqua colors match, I will trade out this bed with the glue stain for one that doesn't have this; NOTE:  I will not be removing the traces of original foam as some collectors covet this); 

1 HTF cradle (MINTY MINT);

1 RARE white bed screen (EXC++-NEAR MINT--one tooth mark on each side of the top edge of the screen along with some barely discernible indentations on the edge of the bottom platform).

To add to the fun, the set comes replete with a cast of hospital personnel and a family of four. These ALL PLASTIC Little People include:

1  red bodied blonde girl with bangs (MINTY MINT);

1 tall, blue bodied Mom with blonde pony (EXC++- "black mole" (?) on left cheek; don't know if this will come off with cleaning; couple of faint "nibbles" on left cheek, lower edge of left hair, and on back of body; I found these via touch; really hard to see);

1 tall, green bodied Dad with black, heat stamped hair (MINTY MINT);

1 RARE baby with bib (NEAR MINT-- NOTE:  THIS IS NOT THE BABY THAT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THIS SET.  THE BABY THAT CAME WITH THE SET DID NOT HAVE A BIB.  THE LATTER PIECE IS UNIQUE TO THIS SET; as mentioned previously, I have a shipment of Hospital pieces and Little People coming shortly; the baby in that lot DOES NOT have the bib; if it's in better shape than this one, then I will substitute it in lieu of the one pictured; if it's not in better shape, I'll contact the buyer to see if they would prefer the baby that originally accompanied the set or if they'd rather have the one with the bib);

1 HTF Caucasian doctor (EXC++-pin head size rubs to eye brows and heat stamped hair);

1 HTF African American ambulance driver (NEAR MINT--teensy rub tocenter part on hair; other features are bold and vibrant);

1 RARE nurse (NEAR MINT--minor rubbing to left side of mask; some slight yellowing and wear on middle and bottom of piece and left eye lashes; rest of piece is MINTY MINT).

Due to time constraints, I have not yet cleaned this playbase or its accessories.  However, you may be assured that this toy will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaned before I send it to its new owners.  I spend a MINIMUM of 1 - 1 1/2 hours cleaning each and every VINTAGE Fisher Price  play set I sell (except for those clearly marked in MY ROUGH ROOM).  I clean EVERY nook and cranny in these VINTAGE Fisher Price play sets (e.g. including up inside the elevator tower, the ceiling, the underside of the base etc. etc.). 

REMEMBER, this VINTAGE FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE play set is NOT included in the recent Fisher Price recall of toys manufactured in China.  This playset was manufactured in the good ole' U.S.A. in 1976!!!! It's 35 years young and still exemplifies Fisher Price's reputation for imaginative, durable toys.  Why take the chance on buying junk or toys that may contain dangerous amounts of lead when you can buy a classic toy like this?

Purchasers should refrain from allowing children under 3 years of age to play with these toys without adult supervision or to offer these toys to children who may be still mouthing their toys.
