English Silver Porringer. Good condition, wear consistent with age and use. There is a small dent or bump. One handle has a slight bend consistant with being held in the same place. It has been polished but could use additional. Hallmarks (weak) on the base. I have had some trouble locating info for the initials W M, I have been told this is most likely the Winterthur Museum, a reproduction piece and has been appropriately priced as such. Touchmarks: There ia a Lions Head Erased, there are 3 others of which I cannot identify. Along with the notable England. The touchmarks appear to note it to be silver, however it is untested. Measures approximately 7 3/8" handle to handle, the bowl 4 1/4"- 4 1/2" diameter ( it is not perfectly round) and 1 3/8" tall. It weighs about 150 grams
