Vintage original 11x14 in. US glossy-style lobby card from the 1920's silent film Northwoods lumber camp-themed western drama, THE LOVE BANDIT, released in 1924 by the Vitagraph Company of America and directed by Dell Henderson. Frederick Van Clayton (Gardner James) robs his employers and is threatened with jail. His sister, Amy (Doris Kenyon), marries his boss, Jim Blazes (Victor Sutherland), to save Fred from prison. Amy doesn't love Jim, so he returns to his lumber company. Amy is later kidnapped amid growing skulduggery at the camp and Jim gets into a vicious gun fight with Amy's kidnappers, whom he later subdues. He saves Amy, who was tied to a buzzsaw table for certain death. After she is rescued, Amy comes to the realization that she loves Jim. The cast includes Cecil Spooner, Lorenza Valentine, and Jules Cowles.
Printed with a beautiful glossy finish, the design features two different photographic scenes from the film, both of which includes the film's star, Doris Kenyon), which are complimented by a medium gray background. The border artwork in the lower left corner depicts a masked white angel on horseback as he aims his pistol at the lover. It is unrestored in near-fine condition with three pinholes in the top border and one in the bottom border; creasing of varying sizes on the corners; and random signs of wear in the borders. There are no tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
