This volume includes two different previously published POGO books from 1953 and 1954, POGO, PRISONER OF LOVE and THE INCOMPLEAT POGO. Also included is a short essay written by Walt Kelly on July 4, 1954, "The Estate Of Our Independence."
I would grade the book as only a Good, thus a perfect reading copy of some of Pogo's earlier exploits.
Spine is tight with no roll; sun-fade; 3/8" tear at upper right edge where it meets cover; two tape lifts on bottom of spine, 3/8" X 3/8" and 1/4" X 3/4".
