What had been intended as a 14 volume, full color set of the POGO comic book series, as written & illustrated by WALT KELLY for DELL PUBLISHING CO., unfortunately came to an abrupt halt (for a number of reasons) in 1990, with number 4.  Volume 3 includes the ALBERT & POGO stories that had originally appeared as back-up features in ANIMAL COMICS (published by Dell Comics), in 1945 and 1946.
