Measures 6-19/32" X 10-1/16", 48 full color pages plus covers, Volume 1, Number 4 (November 1986), published by Marvel Comics Group (NY).
A very short-lived (5 issues) series, with a very unique idea -- take illustrated mature-audience adventure "comic-style" stories that didn't fit into any of the other Marvel comics and magazines, put them all together with a pulp magazine style cover, and market it to the nostalgia crowd. It was a great idea; except that there just weren't enough of the "nostalgia crowd" who loved old pulp magazines or the EC Comics of the 1940s and 1950s, who were also browsing comic book racks. Still, a very bold idea for Marvel, who was attempting to bridge into more adult fare in the early 1980s. Features include:
Cover art by JOHN BOLTON
