20 Seeds White Osteospermum Half-Hardy Perennial Flower

Very unusual and easy! Large colorful, daisy-like blooms with strongly contrasting shiny, iridescent blue centers. Often labeled as annuals, however, they are in fact half-hardy perennials. This means they are not entirely hardy and will therefore not survive persistent frosts. However, they can be propagated by cuttings or  over-wintered in a frost free environment. Will grow to 12-15 inches tall. Prefer a sunny spot but will also do well  in partial shade. They close every evening and open up again in early morning. Regular deadheading will encourage new  blooms. A light summer pruning may result in a fall flush of new blooms after the weather cools.  Good cut or dried flower. Can be sowed outside in the spring or inside in winter. They germinate in 10-21 days.
