Southern giant curled is high in Vitamin A, B, and C. Southern Giant Curled is known for its desirable flavor when cooked as in stir-fry and soups or when young leaves are used fresh in salads. Southern Giant Curled is a beloved classic mustard green. The bright green leaves are tinged with yellow at harvest, and the flavor is always pungent and full-bodied, with the authentic "mustard green" bite. Harvest tender young leaves, as older leaves have a very sharp taste. Days To Maturity: 48-56 days. They can be grown for a fall crop and seed should be planted in late July for an early fall crop.
