Features eight albumen photographs mounted on thick pages - original photographs taken by Mathew Brady, the eminent American Civil War photographer. The photographs are pictures of Ehninger's drawings. There is a page of Longfellow's poem to go with each photograph. This was the first American use of original photographs of illustrations for a literary work.

I normally ship at three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. At end of auction, contact is expected within three days and payment is due within 5 days of auction close (10 for overseas bidders). Non-paying bidder notice after that time and item re-listed. Where possible, Delivery Confirmation (package tracking) is used and incorporated into the mailing price. Tracking is not available on international orders. Florida residents must pay 6% sales tax.
