Long and heavy blade and handle.

Blade fully forged from finest Sheffield English tool steel. Made thicker and heavier than modern chisels.

Long handle made from a single piece of natural wood reinforced at both ends with heavy steel hoops.

Unused  and unsharpened, with original bevel.

Old tool in very good condition. There are minor carbon spots from age and storage but no serious damage. Still fully serviceable. Handle is tight and solid and free of damage.
