Pink, purple, red and white. This beauty is easy to grow in the sun-drenched (or partially shaded) garden when planting from seed. This plant is wonderfully resistant to both heat and drought, keeping it's blooms and fresh foliage looking neat and colorful through the worst of summer's heat. A mass planting is a fabulous sight. They are not fussy about soil type and will even grow in poor soil. Will grow to 24 inches tall. Can be grown in beds, borders, containers, pots, etc. Even though they are very drought tolerant will do better with regular waterings. These also belong in the cutting garden, where you can snip off as many of the plentiful blooms as you need to fill your vases. To dry simply cut the stem at the desired height, trim off the foliage, and hang it upside-down in a well-ventilated, somewhat cool location. Easy to grow from seed.
