THE RATIONAL VIEW
A Series of Seven Lectures Reviewing Racial Evolution
Together With
[When I Am Gone]
Miscellaneous Selections in Prose and Poetry

by Wilber Thomas

New York: The Neale Publishing Company, 1920.

First edition.

Front inner hinge split open although still holding, the book is somewhat shaken, spine has faded with a small paper label at the heel, short tear to the margin of the frontispiece, a poor to fair copy only in brick red cloth with gilt (tarnished) titles.

Octavo.
A three page introduction by the author is included in the
253 pages; plus an additional 74 pages.
Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait and photographs.

The text of the author's seven lectures, dealing primarily with evolution and religion, are presented in the first portion of the book. The second portion includes the author's earlier prose and poetry.

Evidently, this book escaped Krick's notice as the title does not appear in his otherwise excellent Neale bibliography.
