A talented pig named Rosa goes to New York City with hopes of becoming a star. She gets a job at a cafe as a waitress, where she also sings, dances and acts.

Because she's not a good waitress, the bear, a cook-owner, fires her, saying he doesn't want an entertainer. Even though the replacement kangaroo waitress is good, the bear realizes he misses Rosa and hires her back to entertain--to the joy of all the help and the customers.

A delightful be yourself and dream book.

Fine in red linen with black embossed illustration of a happy dancing pig balancing a serving tray of deserts to the front cover and with black embossed titles to the spine; in a near fine price-clipped dust jacket.

A presentable and charming children's collectible.
