Spectacular Medusa Sculpture Bust Head Versace Logo 11". A stunning statue very similar to the Versace fashion logo. Medusa, in Greek mythology was a mortal woman transformed into a Gorgon, a dragon-like creature with snakes for hair. Medusa was slain by Perseus. Medusa's head was so hideous-even in death-that any beholder was turned to stone. Her image was later used by Athena to ward off evil and devious men, which is probably where Versace got their ideas. This Striking statue is mounted via a brass finished pole on a wood base. Beautiful.
