This serving dish was part of my own collection for many years.  I bought this probably around 1980 or so.  The item has been in my basement storage area for many years.   I describe all items I list to the best of my ability.  If I see flaws in the item I will disclose it.  This red cardinal was used as a nut dish, candy dish, and even for cheesecake many times.    There is some scraping of the top flower in the middle...but other than that this dish is nice.  The gold on the handle is bright with no discoloring to it.  The dish itself has no flaws, chips, cracks, crazing, flea bites to it.  Normal wear on bottom of the porcelain.  The piece is marked on the bottom in gold as it being a Lefton piece.  Even this stamp has no issues.
LEFTON dish measures 5 1/2 inches from the gold handle to the bottom and 5 1/4 inches wide.
