This plate is made in China. It is a 8 1/4 inch in diameter x 1 inch tall. Noted on the back that this plate is for decoration only. Not for food consumption.
The plate does not have a smooth finish to it. It has more like a clay feel to the finish. The plate itself has a bright and vivid color to it. The horse in the middle looks awesome. Nice color ... bright vivid ... with alot of detail to it.
There is some marks on the plate that the red paint has run (I believe) ... on the socks of the horse. The back of the plate has picked up other colors from things it was stacked on. I have owned this plate since 2005 and sold many at flea markets over the years. This is my last one in my inventory.
See photo magnified to see this issue. AND a few marks on the border that looks like it is cracked. Overall this plate is very nice.
