The books are all 5-3/4" wide by 8-1/4" tall. I don't see any writing or highlighting, but the books do shows signs of their age and shelf wear. Please look carefully at the pictures. This is a nice set of books with some great stories to give or read to a child. This set could keep you reading for a while.

Although the books were published by different companies, they were all published for Keepworthy Books, A Division of The Parents' Institute, Inc., Publishers of Parents' Magazine, 52 Vanderbilt Avenue, New York. Although I don't see an actual year of printing and the copyright dates are different, I believe these were printed in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
