Vintage Large Brown Drip Glaze Pottery Ashtray.  BEARD ... Made in USA ... #6 is embossed on the bottom of the ashtray.  It is round in shape.  Has a pinwheel design on one side...could be a place to put your coffee cup or anything else that is round shape.  Even a place to put a round cigarette dish...or loose tobacco.  This area measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter OR 2 5/8 inches in diameter where the item is to put another piece of glassware.  

The whole cigarette ashtray measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter x almost 1 inch tall.  The colors in this item has the brown glaze look with white and a little tint of yellow in the speckled areas.  There are 4 insets where the cigarettes or cigars can rest in.

This ashtray was typically used in a wire raised metal stand.  It does have indents and a ceramic stopper lip on the underside.
