The Dreamcatcher was first used by the Woodland Indians. It was hung in the lodge near the bed. The Dreamcatcher captures all of your dreams. The good dreams would filter down to you while you are sleeping. The good dreams were also held in the feathers until the next night. That way you could dream them again the next night.
