WEIRD HEROES, Volumes 2 and 6                                   Edited & Developed by Byron Preiss                                 Pyramid Books, First Editions, 1975 & 1977                               Condition: Very Good+ to Near Fine & Very Good                                                                                                                             In the 1970s, editor Byron Preiss put out a series of 8 anthologies and novels under the title WEIRD HEROES (A New American  Pulp!).  Authors and characters in these two volumes include Philip Jose Farmer (Greatheart Silver - 2 stories), Harlan Ellison (Cordwainer Bird), Ted White (Doc Phoenix), Ron Goulart (Shinbet) and others.  Artists include Steranko, Ralph Reese, Tom Sutton and more.  #2 has tiny cover corner wear, a little light edge wear and a store stamp on the inside front cover.  #6 has cover rubbing, some corner creasing & a light reading crease and light edge wear.  Both volumes have square spines and tight binding  with no writing or markings (except for faint tiny numbers or smudging on top page edges).
