Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover looks great, light scuffing, creasing and a few surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (plastic). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge. Slight wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots, especially near the bottom. "B" (Pressing Plant ID) on label. (Not a cut-out.)
An Old-Fashioned Christmas was released after the death of Carpenters' singer/drummer Karen Carpenter. The album project had its genesis in several unused tracks from the brother and sister duo's previous Christmas album. Richard Carpenter took these tracks and recorded new material around them, and this album was the end result. The album (in its original LP and cassette form) includes the slow version of Santa Claus Is Coming to Town (a faster version appeared on the Christmas Portrait album).
