Dogwood Pattern Or Wild Rose
Fancy Ruffle Edge
Black Glass Tidbit Bowl
Description: This small black glass bowl has a fancy edge and ruffles. It was probably made about 1930. The molded pattern features a center dogwood flower surrounded by a circle of flowers and lines. The flower may be a wild rose. The pattern resembles a pattern that might have been used for carnival glass or opalescent glass, but I cannot find the maker.
Notes: When held up to a strong light, a vivid violet color can be seen through the black glass.
Size: About 7" diameter x 1.75" high inches high
Condition: It is in great used pre-owned condition. It has no chips or cracks. No apparent usage marks.
