Author: Jim Cottrell, President of the French-Swiss Ski Cottage, has taught skiing to college and university students for 15 years. He received his Masters Degree from Appalachian State University and is a certified member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Among his many contributions promoting skiing have been serving as ski program developer for the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and serving on the National Advisory Committee for International Special Olympics.
