How do i cancel order and offer refund?

I ran out of stock on an item and have to refund the buyer. Now, do I refund the buyer the purchase total of ($59.04) or the total after the fees were taken out ($53.40)?

Thank you,

Gina

If the buyer used paypal..go to paypal and find the invoice and Click on Refund.

If the buyer used Stripe..do the same

Essentially go to the payment processor and refund the purchase.

When you have done so…get the transaction ID# for refund
Go to
seller Dashboard
Current Statement
Find Invoice
Click on red x
Ask for refund of fees (provide ID# if needed)….the last time I refunded, since taxes were collected, bonanza was also notified by paypal

You would refund the buyer the entire purchase total ($59.04). The error was not due to the buyer so they should receive a full refund.

You will receive all your fees back from Bonanza (follow ccmom’s instructions) so the only amount you will be out is what the payment processor (paypal or stripe) keeps.
